Finish line is Looking Good

RSS yes! well ,first I thought it is something I may have in wrists. But after further investagation found it to be another discovery and technique and oportunity given to me through " Licene 2 Test Drive" from State Library.
I am still as nervious as I was at the start.
Today I was able to create through RSS feed what I suspose it is like a newspaper or a library of web sites for me where I am able to view Blogs or Web pages selected altogether in the same place instead of having to google or login on to approx 20 different websites, this makes to a quick and easy way and automatically it enables me to recieve direct updates.

I can see where this would be an advantage andwhere some libraries would find this most useful and take advantage of RSS Feed .

Sites selected for me to recieve update where The Courier Mail - ABC Blog and Opal Training.

I found the Licence 2 Test Drive a great challenge and the learning new things to do with the computer exciting.

Starting a Jog

My Oh My!!!!!
What a day I have had I am now networking or should say I am now one of the millions people on Facebook in the world. I have heard a lot about networking on the internet but had no idea just how huge it is ,this is just great.

Learning to-day to go on facebook was certainly an experience and one I never thought I would be taking part in. I was beliver that you can't teach old dogs new tricks. How wrong I was!!

Well I am on fire here to-day .I did not know what a Wiki was so I Googled it to find out and went into Wikipedia ,there I was able to find where Tambo was written up and clicked on Barcoo River to get more information.
Then through (slq library 2.0!) after watching the the video clip was able to create a profile on Wetpaint there I was able to place a thread and I asked the person were they on this great learning curve with me.

I am amazed at how much there is and what can be done ,you see all these words on the internet and think oh! what am I looking at .Well a big thanks to State Library for the opportunity

Second Little Step

Another new project learnt only hope I can remember all. Pleased I did take the plunge as it is giving me the confidence to take on more challenges with the computer.To me they are like mircowave ovens you do the basics and thats it.

To-day I was able to load a photo onto the computer ,then place it onto my profile ,I reopened my blog and now posting a new blog. I did not think it would be as easy as it was to load a photo from your camera ,on the computer and then it transfered to Flickr photo and onto my profile.

My place of work is wonderful ,because of the age of the building and what it was orginally the,"Old Court House" many tourists come and I have a few stories to tell with regards to some of the court cases that took place here

Iam now ready to go to the stage of my "Licence 2 test Drive"
